ShopVimCenter Cookie Policy

This Policy explains cookies, browser storage and similar terminal technologies used for ShopVimCenter at https://vimgrace.com/vimcenter/. The controller is VIMGRACE, UNIPESSOAL LDA, NIPC 517626829, Funchal, Portugal. Contact manager@vimgrace.com or telephone +351 300 509 080. The Privacy Notice explains personal data, recipients, transfers and rights.

1 Required and optional technologies

1.1. Strictly necessary technologies may be used without optional cookie consent where the applicable law permits, only to provide a function you expressly request, maintain authentication and security, record your privacy choice or perform another genuinely necessary function. Calling a cookie “functional” or useful to our business does not make it exempt.

1.2. Preregistration referral recognition and optional visit or performance analytics use prior consent where required. Storage in localStorage, pixels and similar browser identifiers are subject to the relevant rule just as cookies are. We do not classify an affiliate marketing identifier as strictly necessary merely because the programme pays commissions.

1.3. We must not activate an analytics, advertising or social media technology merely because this Policy mentions its general category. Any actual vendor, purpose, duration and transfer must first be disclosed and any required consent obtained.

2 Referral recognition

2.1. Where you consent, the preregistration referral marker may contain the referring creator code, the time of the referral and a visitor identifier, for up to 30 days. Within that period, a later valid referral can replace the earlier preregistration referral according to the programme rules; a direct visit does not itself restart or extend the period.

2.2. Refusing or withdrawing this optional consent must prevent further use of that browser marker and remove it where reasonably possible. You may continue browsing, registering and buying through the necessary service functions. A prior optional referral may then be unrecognised; neither the visitor nor a creator is promised recovery of a missing attribution through an unconsented identifier.

2.3. After registration, an account’s inviter and programme relationship may be retained as server side contractual information, with the legal basis and retention stated in the Privacy Notice. An existing account relationship is not automatically changed by a later link or by changing a cookie choice. Do not use fingerprinting or another undisclosed technique to recreate tracking that was refused.

3 Choice and withdrawal

3.1. The first choice layer must offer equally accessible “Accept optional cookies”, “Reject optional cookies” and “Manage preferences”. Optional choices are off until affirmatively selected. Scrolling, closing the banner, remaining on the site or accepting contractual terms is not consent to optional cookies.

3.2. The consent tool allows a later change through a persistent “Cookie settings” link. Withdrawing is as easy as accepting. The choice period is up to 6 months, with a fresh request sooner if purposes or relevant vendors materially change. Refusal is remembered as reliably as acceptance and must not lead to repeated pressure on each page.

3.3. Blocking cookies through your browser may affect login or other functions that genuinely require them. A refusal of optional tracking must not disable unrelated necessary functions. Where an applicable law requires recognition of a browser opt out signal, the implementation must honour that signal and display a compatible choice.

4 Live technology register

4.1. The current detailed technology list is provided in “Manage preferences” and “Cookie settings” on the website and forms part of this Policy. It identifies the actual name or identifier, provider, purpose, data or content, category, maximum lifetime, applicable domain, first or third party status and relevant third country transfer information or a direct reference to its notice. The Company must maintain that list whenever a technology changes.

4.2. The service categories are necessary authentication and security, privacy choice storage, and optional preregistration referral tracking. Authentication technologies last for the requested session or the persistent sign in period shown in the detailed list; security technologies have the specified proportionate lifetime. Optional referral recognition lasts no longer than 30 days and choice storage no longer than 6 months.

4.3. Optional performance event records retained on the server are subject to the Privacy Notice and its limit of up to 12 months; that period does not extend a browser referral marker beyond 30 days. A cookie’s expiry and a lawful retention period for a server transaction record are different matters.

5 Third party services and updates

5.1. Approved payment, verification or external content services may have their own necessary technologies and independent privacy notices. The relevant information and legal basis must be provided when they are used. Nonessential third party embeds must not load before the required choice.

5.2. We review this Policy when technologies, vendors or law change and record the version presented with the choice. Further questions and rights requests may be sent to manager@vimgrace.com. The publication date and version are displayed with the live text.
